Project Web

YouGo - Seamless Travel Experience
For the Project Web, the goal was to design and develop a multi-device website and application that catered to travelers in their trip planning and post-trip experiences. I aimed to create a seamless user experience across various devices, including laptops, smartphones, tablets, and internet cafes.
Concept
Navigating public transportation in foreign countries can be challenging. Determining the safest, most cost-effective, and suitable mode of transport to reach a destination can be daunting. With the YouGo website, users can compare different routes, including buses, planes, prices, timings, and itineraries. The website provides comprehensive information on each route, enabling users to make informed decisions. Additionally, the website offers insights on notable landmarks and attractions along the routes, ensuring that users don’t miss out on any key experiences while traveling.
Conclusion
Working on the YouGo project has been an enriching experience, providing me with valuable skills in creating a seamless multi-device travel platform. Throughout the project, I learned the significance of considering user needs and providing comprehensive information to enhance their travel planning and experiences. The design and development process taught me the importance of usability, visual aesthetics, and responsive design to ensure optimal user experiences across different devices. Moreover, the opportunity to incorporate a review-sharing feature in the app highlighted the power of community engagement and collaboration among travelers.
